Contacting SSL Support for Stuck Orders
At Nixzoehost, most SSL certificates are issued within minutes. However, if your certificate has been stuck in a "Pending" or "Processing" state for more than a few hours, it may require manual intervention from the Certificate Authority (CA).
While our Nixzoehost support team can help you with the technical setup, certain "stuck" orders require you to speak directly with the CAs validation department to verify your identity or resolve brand conflicts.
When to Contact the Certificate Authority Directly
You should reach out to the CA (e.g., Sectigo) if you encounter the following scenarios:
-
Brand Validation: Your domain name contains a trademarked word (like "Amazon," "Facebook," or "Global") and requires a human to verify you aren't a phisher.
-
Company Verification: For OV or EV certificates, the CA may need to verify your business registration or call your office.
-
Manual DCV Failures: You have completed the DNS or HTTP validation perfectly, but the system is still not "seeing" it after 24 hours.
How to Reach the Validation Team
Since Nixzoehost partners with Sectigo (formerly Comodo) for most of our premium certificates, they provide a dedicated support portal for validation issues.
-
Locate your Order ID: You can find this in your Nixzoehost Client Area under the SSL Management tab.
-
Open a Ticket: Visit the Sectigo Ticketing System.
-
Use Live Chat: For faster results with simple "Pending" issues, use the Sectigo Live Chat on their website. Be sure to select the "Validation" department.
Information You Will Need
To help the support agent resolve your issue quickly, have the following details ready:
-
Your Order ID (from your Nixzoehost dashboard).
-
The Common Name (the domain you are securing).
-
The Validation Method you chose (Email, DNS, or HTTP).
-
A Screenshot (if you are doing DNS or HTTP validation, show them that the record/file is live).

A Note on 2026 Security Standards
Remember that in 2026, the industry has higher scrutiny for automated orders. If your domain looks similar to a high-traffic financial or social media site, manual review is mandatory. Please allow 24 to 48 hours for these reviews to complete before opening a high-priority ticket.
