How can I renew my domain?

Follow these steps to add more time to your domain registration:

1. Access Your Domain List

2. Select Your Domain

  • Find the domain you wish to renew in the list.

  • Click the Manage button (often represented by a wrench icon or a three-dot menu) next to the domain name.

3. Initiate Renewal

  • On the left-hand sidebar or in the management tabs, look for the Renew or Renew Domain option.

  • Choose the number of years you would like to add to your registration (typically between 1 and 10 years).

    • Note: Most domain registries do not allow a total registration period to exceed 10 years at any given time.

4. Checkout and Payment

  • Click Add to Cart or Renew Now.

  • Review your shopping cart to ensure you have selected the correct domain and term.

  • Proceed to Checkout and complete your payment.

Important Things to Know

  • Instant Update: Once your payment is processed, the registry is updated immediately. However, it can sometimes take up to 24 hours for the new expiration date to reflect in public WHOIS records.

  • No Lost Time: You don't lose time by renewing early! If your domain expires in 3 months and you renew for 1 year today, your new expiration date will be exactly 1 year and 3 months from now.

  • Redemption Fees: If your domain has already expired and moved into the Redemption Period, you will not be able to renew it through this standard process. You will need to contact our support team to pay the required registry restoration fees.

  • Domain Privacy: If you have ID Protection (WHOIS Privacy) enabled, remember to check if that also needs renewal to keep your personal data hidden.
