How to Transfer a Domain to Nixzoehost
Step 1: Check Eligibility
Before starting, ensure your domain meets these three global rules:

The 60-Day Rule: Your domain must have been registered (or last transferred) at least 60 days ago.

Status: The domain must be "Active" or "OK"it cannot be expired or in its redemption period.

Privacy Off: You must disable WHOIS Privacy (Domain Privacy) at your current registrar so the transfer system can verify your ownership.
Step 2: Prepare at Your Current Registrar
Log in to your current provider (e.g., GoDaddy, Namecheap) and perform these two actions:

Unlock the Domain: Find the "Transfer Lock" or "Registrar Lock" setting and turn it OFF.

Get the EPP Code: Request your Authorization Code (also called an EPP Code or Transfer Key). This is a unique password you will need to give to Nixzoehost.
Step 3: Initiate the Transfer at Nixzoehost

Visit the Nixzoehost Domain Transfer Page.

Enter the domain name you want to move.

When prompted, paste your EPP/Authorization Code.

Add the transfer to your cart and complete the checkout. (Note: The transfer fee usually includes a 1-year renewal added to your current expiry date).
Step 4: Confirm the Move
Keep a close watch on your email!

Verification Email: You will receive an email (usually at the "Admin" email address listed on your domain) asking you to approve the transfer.

Approval: Click the link in that email to authorize the move. If you don't click this, the transfer will automatically fail after a few days.
Important Questions
How long does it take? Most transfers take 5 to 7 days to complete. During this time, your website will stay online as long as you don't change your nameservers.
Will my website go offline? No. As long as you keep your current nameservers active, your site will remain live during the move. We recommend not changing DNS records right before or during a transfer.
Can I transfer a .UK domain this way? No. .UK, .CO.UK, and .ORG.UK domains have a different process. Instead of an EPP code, you must ask your current registrar to change the "IPS Tag" to [Insert Nixzoehost IPS Tag Here].
