How do I cancel my Legacy Site Builder service?

If you have decided to move your website to a modern platform or no longer require your legacy site, you can request a cancellation directly through your dashboard. At Nixzoehost, we aim to make this process as transparent as possible, ensuring you have full control over your billing cycle.


1. Important Considerations Before You Cancel

Cancellation is a permanent action. Before proceeding, please review the following:

  • Data Loss: Once the cancellation is fully processed, all files, images, and content associated with the Legacy Site Builder will be permanently deleted from our legacy cluster.

  • Backups: We recommend taking screenshots or copying your text content into a document, as legacy sites cannot be exported as standard ZIP files.

  • Domain Status: Canceling your site builder does not cancel your domain name. Your domain will remain active and continue to renew unless you specifically disable auto-renew for it as well.


2. Steps to Request Cancellation

To cancel your service, follow these steps within your Client Area:

  5. Brief Description: Briefly let us know why you are canceling (this helps us improve our future services!).

  6. Cancellation Type: * Immediate: Your site will be taken offline and deleted within 24 hours.

    • End of Billing Period: Your site remains active until your current paid term ends, and it will not renew.

  7. Confirm: Click the Request Cancellation button to finalize.


3. Can I Undo a Cancellation?

If you change your mind before the cancellation date has reached:

  • End of Billing Period: You can usually "Stop" the cancellation request by contacting our support team or checking the service management page in your dashboard.
