How to Set Up a "Catch-All" Email Address

A Catch-All (or Wildcard) email address is a powerful feature that ensures you never miss a message due to a sender's typo.

How it works:

Normally, if someone emails slas@yourdomain.com instead of sales@yourdomain.com, the email bounces back as undeliverable. With a Catch-All active, any email sent to a non-existent address at your domain is automatically redirected to a primary inbox of your choice.

How to configure it:

  1. Log in to your Nixzoehost Dashboard.

  2. Navigate to Email > Default Address.

  3. Select the domain you wish to configure.

  4. Choose "Forward to Email Address" and enter your primary inbox (e.g., admin@yourdomain.com).

  5. Click Change.

Pro Tip: While useful, Catch-Alls can attract more spam because "dictionary bots" try random addresses like info@, office@, and jobs@. Monitor your spam folder closely after enabling this.
