At Nixzoehost, a failed transfer doesn't mean you've lost your money. In most cases, your transfer credit remains in your account, and you can try again once the error is fixed.
Step 1: Fix the Root Cause
Before resubmitting, ensure you have addressed the error:
-
Log into your old registrar and confirm the Lock is OFF.
-
Generate a New EPP Code to ensure the "key" is fresh.
-
Check that WHOIS Privacy is disabled.
Step 2: Resubmit via the Client Area
-
Log in to your Nixzoehost Client Area.
-
Go to Domains > Transfers.
-
Locate the failed domain. You will see an option to "Resubmit Transfer" or "Update EPP Code."
-
Enter the new information and click Save/Resubmit.
Step 3: Monitor for the Approval Email
Once resubmitted, keep a close eye on your inbox. You (or the administrative contact) will receive a new authorization email. You must click the link in that email to restart the clock.
Troubleshooting Quick-Fix Table
| If the error is... | Then do this... |
| Authentication Error | Get a new EPP code and resubmit. |
| Object Prohibited | Unlock the domain at your current registrar. |
| Transfer Period Lock | Wait until the domain is 60 days old. |
| No Email Received | Check Spam or update the Admin Email in WHOIS. |
Nixzoehost Support Guarantee: If you have attempted to resubmit and the transfer continues to fail, please open a support ticket. Our team can look at the "Registry Logs" to see the exact technical handshake and tell you precisely what to ask your old registrar to fix.
