Specialty Transfers (.UK, .CA, .ES) Print

Not all domains follow the standard "Auth Code" rules. If you are moving a country-code top-level domain (ccTLD), follow these specific requirements:

.UK / .CO.UK (The IPS Tag Method)

UK domains do not use Auth Codes. Instead, they use "IPS Tags."

  • The Action: Log in to your current registrar and change the IPS Tag to [NIXZOE-TAG] (replace with your actual tag).

  • The Result: Once the tag is changed, the domain will appear in your Nixzoehost account almost instantly.

.CA (Canada)

  • Auth Code Required: Yes.

  • CIRA Lock: Some .ca domains have a "CIRA Lock" enabled at the registry level. This must be disabled via your current provider before the Nixzoehost transfer can begin.

.ES (Spain)

  • No Auth Code: .es transfers do not use codes.

  • Verification: An email is sent directly from the .es registry (Red.es). You must click the approval link within 10 days, or the transfer will be automatically canceled.
