While we hate to see you go, Nixzoehost believes in a "No-Hassle" approach to cancellations. We dont hide the button or force you to call a representative; you have full control over your subscription directly from your Client Area.
Here is the step-by-step process to cancel your Managed WordPress service.
Before You Cancel: The "Pre-Flight" Checklist
Once a subscription is cancelled and the billing period ends, your data will be permanently removed. Please ensure you have done the following:
-
Download a Backup: Use the Back Up / Restore tool in your dashboard to download a full
.zipof your website files and database. -
Check Your Email: If you have professional email addresses (e.g.,
info@yourdomain.com) attached to this plan, they will also be deactivated. Back up any important emails. -
Point Your DNS: If you are moving to a new host, update your Nameservers before cancelling to ensure zero downtime during the transition.

-

-
Immediate: Your site will be taken offline and data deleted within 24 hours. Use this only if you are 100% finished with the site.

Cancellation vs. Refund
It is important to understand the difference between stopping a subscription and receiving your money back:
| Action | Result |
| Cancellation Request | Stops future billing and schedules the account for deletion. |
| Money-Back Guarantee | Nixzoehost offers a 30-day money-back guarantee for new Managed WordPress plans. |
| How to get a refund | If you are within your first 30 days, you must open a Support Ticket after requesting cancellation to ask for your refund. Cancellations do not trigger refunds automatically. |
"What if I change my mind?"
If you requested a cancellation for the End of the Billing Period but decided to stay with Nixzoehost:
-
Go back to the Manage Product page for that service.
-
You will see a message stating there is a "Pending Cancellation."
-
Click the Revoke Cancellation button. This will reactivate your auto-renewals and keep your site running smoothly.
Nixzoehost Note: If you are cancelling because you're having technical trouble or your site is slow, please reach out to our Nixzoe Concierge Support first. Most performance issues can be fixed with a 5-minute optimization by our team!
