How to Upgrade or Downgrade Your Plan

Whether you've just gone viral and need more bandwidth, or you're looking to consolidate your resources, you can change your Nixzoe Managed WordPress plan at any time. Our system handles the migration of resources automatically, meaning there is zero downtime for your visitors.

When should you Upgrade?

  • Traffic Spikes: If your "Monthly Visitors" count is approaching its limit.

  • Storage Needs: If you are uploading more high-resolution media or adding an e-commerce store (WooCommerce).

  • Performance: If you want access to more dedicated CPU and RAM for faster backend processing.

When should you Downgrade?

  • Budget Optimization: If youve moved large media files to an external CDN and no longer need high storage.

  • Low Traffic: If you are maintaining a legacy site with minimal monthly visits.

Step-by-Step: How to Change Your Plan

  1. Log in to your Nixzoehost Client Area.

  2. Navigate to Services > My Services.

  3. Locate your Managed WordPress instance and click the Manage Product (or Active) button.

  4. On the left-hand sidebar menu, click on Upgrade/Downgrade.

  5. Choose Your New Plan: You will see a list of available plans. Click Choose Product on the one that fits your needs.

  6. Payment/Adjustment: * For Upgrades: The system will calculate a pro-rated amount (the difference between your current plan and the new one for the remainder of your billing cycle). Once paid, your resources are added instantly.

    • For Downgrades: The change will be scheduled for your next renewal date to ensure you get the full value of your current month.

What Happens to My Data?

  • Upgrading is 100% safe. Your files, database, and settings stay exactly where they are. We simply "expand the walls" of your container to give you more room.

  • Downgrading is safe as long as your current disk usage is lower than the limit of the new plan.

Note: If you are using 20GB of space and try to downgrade to a 10GB plan, the system will prevent the change until you delete enough files to fit within the smaller plan.

The Nixzoehost "No-Downtime" Guarantee

Unlike other hosts that might move you to a different server (causing DNS delays), Nixzoehost Managed WordPress uses Fluid Containers. Your site stays on the same high-performance hardwarewe simply adjust the software limits in real-time. Your site will not blink or go offline for even a second.
