How to Use Premium DNS and Hosting Services Simultaneously

When you have both Premium DNS and a Web Hosting plan (like Nixzoe Flux) at Nixzoehost, you are using two different powerful systems. To make them work together, you must "bridge" them by ensuring your Premium DNS records point exactly to your hosting server's IP address.

By following this guide, you will enjoy the 100% uptime of our Anycast DNS network while your website runs on our high-speed NVMe hosting.

Step 1: Locate Your Hosting IP Address

Before you can configure your DNS, you need to know the "address" of your hosting server.

1. Log in to your Nixzoehost cPanel.

2. On the right-hand sidebar, look for the General Information section.

3. Find the Shared IP Address (e.g., 65.7.111.54).

4. Copy this number. This is where your DNS needs to send your visitors.

Step 2: Access the Premium DNS Manager

Now that you have your IP, you need to tell the Premium DNS network where to find your site.

1. Go to your Nixzoehost Client Area.

2. Navigate to Services > Premium DNS.

3. Click the Manage icon for your domain.

Step 3: Point Your 'A Records' to Your Hosting

The A Record is what connects your domain name to your server's IP.

1. Look for the record with the Type A.

2. In the Address/Value field, paste the Shared IP Address you copied from cPanel in Step 1.

3. Ensure there is an A Record for both the "root" ([suspicious link removed]) and the "www" (www.yourdomain.com).

4. TTL (Time to Live): Set this to 3600 (1 hour) or lower for faster updates.

Step 4: Synchronize Your Email (MX Records)

If you are using Nixzoehost for your email accounts, your Premium DNS must also point to our mail servers.

1. In your Premium DNS manager, find the MX Records.
