DNS Templates Setup
We are excited to offer the DNS Templates feature, designed to take the guesswork out of connecting your domain to popular third-party platforms.
Instead of manually entering IP addresses and CNAME records, you can now use a pre-configured template to get your site live in seconds. This feature is available in your Nixzoehost Dashboard under the Advanced DNS tab for all domains pointing to our BasicDNS or PremiumDNS.
Available Templates
Currently, you can use our one-click templates to connect your domain to:

Shopify
-
Wix
-
Weebly
IMPORTANT: To connect a domain to Wix, your Wix account must be upgraded to a Premium Plan. Wix does not allow custom domain connections on their free tier.
How it Works
When you apply a DNS Template (e.g., the Shopify DNS Template), our system automatically updates your host records with the required A records and CNAMEs.

Log in to your Nixzoehost Account.

Navigate to Domains > My Domains and select Manage.

Click the Advanced DNS tab.

Look for the DNS Templates drop-down menu and select your provider.
Important Things to Note

Record Conflicts: To ensure your site works correctly, our system will automatically delete or replace conflicting records (like existing A records).

Backup Your Settings: We highly recommend taking a screenshot or saving your current DNS settings before applying a template, just in case you need to revert to your original setup.

Smart Conflict Detection: If your host records already contain many custom settings, our system will attempt to identify only the necessary changes to avoid breaking other services (like your email).
